Instructions Note: Use this guide at your own risk. We will not be held liable for any damage to your device as a result of following this guide. Extract the contents of the XXLC1 firmware package into a folder on your PC. You///8217;ll get the following files after extraction: GT-N7000-MULTI-CSC-OXALC1.tar.md5 MODEM_N7000XXLB2_REV_05_CL1106002.tar.md5 CODE_N7000XXLC1_CL1003701_REV02_user_low_ship.tar. md5 Extract the contents of Odin 1.85.zip into a folder on your PC. Switch off your Galaxy Note and make sure that it is NOT connected to your computer. Put your device into download mode: press Volume Down + Home button + Power button at the same time. You///8217;ll see ///8220;Warning!///8221; on the screen and from there, press Volume Up to enter download mode. On your computer, go to the folder where you extracted the Odin3 ZIP package. Launch the Odin3 program on your computer. In Odin3, select the following files as specified (these are the files that you extracted earlier): Click on the PDA tab and choose CODE_N7000XXLC1_CL1003701_REV02_user_low_ship.tar. md5. Click on the MODEM tab and choose the file MODEM_N7000XXLB2_REV_05_CL1106002.tar.md5. Click on the CSC tab and choose GT-N7000-MULTI-CSC-OXALC1.tar.md5. Start the flashing by hitting the Start button in Odin3. When flashing is complete your phone will reboot automatically and you will see the Samsung, at which point you can unplug the USB cable already. Also take note that a message with green background saying PASS will be displayed in upper left of Odin3. But, if you get FAIL message with a red background, close Odin3, remove and reinsert your phone///8217;s battery, place your phone in download mode again, and start over from step 5. Congratulations! You///8217;ve successfully upgraded your Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 to Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread firmware build XXLC1. |
