Website Making using Joomla 1.7.5 Tutorial - Mas pinadali [ TESTED ]

This tutorial naman po will teach you on how to create website using Joomla 1.7 version.

What is the difference between the version 1.5 and 1.7??

First, is yung template na available for this version is mas magaganda and you can use template na pang version 2.5 pa,
and also sa Control Panel po ng Joomla 1.7, mas maraming option at mas maganda ang back-end template.


So let's start na po. . .


Requirements:
1. Joomla_1.7.5-Stable-Full_Package
2. Free web hosting website. We can use www.000webhost.com or kung meron na kayo, mas mabuti.



First step: [ credits to inztructor ]

1. Go to www.000webhost.com then click Sign Up.

2. Then sa mga fields na to:

I want to host my own domain (domain must be registered already) hindi ito free
www.yourdomain.com

or, I will choose your free subdomain (recommended) eto ang free
www.personalweb.xxxxxxx.com

Your Name: ________________
Valid Email: ________________
Password: _________________
Confirm Password: ______________
Catcha: _________________
Then tick on Agree and Create my Account.
After that verify first your account kung anuman yung email na nilagay nyo sa registration.

3. After ma-verify Go to Members Area and Sign In.

4. Makikita sa List of your Domains yung personalweb.xxxxxxxx.com. Note kaya xxxxxxx ang nilagay ko sa example kase maraming pwedeng ibagay na subdomain name si 000webhost at di po ito parepareho. pwede rin na sa halip na .com eh .net or .org depende po sa ibibigay ni 000webhost.

5. Sa Action click "Refresh Status" at kung hindi na click "Go to Cpanel". Sa Cpanel makikita sa kanan bahagi ng page ang inyong Account Information. Yun pong mga colored red ang mga dapat tandaan. Para makasiguro ilagay po natin ito sa notepad at isave.

Second step:

1. Download Joomla_1.7.5-Stable-Full_Package [ click here ].


2. Extract natin ito, then lets zip the following ( note: use WINZIP only )

File1 must contained: ( size must be 4.624mb )
- administrator
- cache
- cli
- components
- images
- includes
- installation
- language
- libraries

File2
- lahat ng natira sa folder i-zip natin ( size must be 2.564mb )


3. Go to your created domain control panel. I-upload natin ngayon ang mga zip files, simply click FILE MANAGER. .
type your password the click public_html. . then delete naten lahat ng nasa loob nito. [ delete option ay nasa right side, upper part. then click UPLOAD.


4. Upload po natin yung File1 and File2, see image below.

Browse the File1, then click green check, wait naten matapos, then lalabas lahat ng files, click GREEN CHECK again,
then browse ulit naten yung File2, same principle.siguraduhin po naten nasa public_html tayo. ok!


5. Go back to Control Panel and look for MySQL, click niyo yan. then follow image below...



*After that, i-SAVE po naten ang info na yan, gagamitin naten yan mamaya. . ok!

6. Click niyo na ngayon yung inyong website address, may lalabas po na Joomla installation.

a. Click NEXT for Language setup
b. Click NEXT for Pre-Installation check
c. Click NEXT for License
d. Sa Database, simply input yung ating MySQL info kanina.
e. Click NEXT for FTP Configuration
f. For Configuration, type MY PERSONAL WEBSITE in Site Name *, then complete the ff:

Your Email * Admin Username * Admin Password * Confirm Admin Password *
Click NEXT . . . .

Note: you have the option to install sample data, click niyo to kung gusto niyo may laman agad ang inyong website.

7. May makikita kayong..
Congratulations! Joomla! is now installed.

Now, lets go back to FILE MANAGER, go to public_html then look for INSTALLATION, check it then DELETE then green check icon.


8. Done. Now refresh or open your website.
